Speaking the truth in love is not the same as loving to speak the truth.
Efforts have to be made on both sides for communication to be effective - both sides need to be effective communicators and effective listeners.
Communication is the foundation to any relationship.
Effective boundaries need to be established and maintained for healthy communication and relationships.
Just some of the lessons God has been teaching me about communication - with Him and with other people.

ReplyDeleteI would like to add that, alone time isn't always "alone." It can be that 'secret place' where you build your relationship with God (from Bill Johnson); and the 'secret place' will be the foundation of your relationships with everyone else.
