Contacts

I have a love-hate relationship with contacts.  I hate wearing contacts and I love to hate wearing contacts. 

But every. single. optometrist. I've gone to has recommended that I wear contacts. 

Something's gotta give.  And it's usually my resolve to wear contacts.  Again.

Back in Shanghai

There's a large degree of uncertainty in certain key areas of my life at the moment.  As I see it, my choices are to:

1. Try to control the circumstances
2. Surrender it all to God

Since I really can't do option 1, I'm going with option 2.  I sincerely hope and pray that through this episode of my walk with Jesus, He'll continue to teach me how to choose option 2 out of a joyful and confident heart rather than through an unnecessary and painful process of elimination.
